9th Circuit dismisses Firearms Freedom Act: Fed. can regulate guns that stay within state of origin

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Friday that the Firearms Freedom Act is preempted by federal law. In other words, the federal government has the power to regulate firearms that are made and retained in-state despite what the 9th and 10th Amendments say.
