Two officers responding to a call about an after-school fight just outside of Philadelphia were saved by an armed citizen after being attacked by a group of high school students.

"He was really shook up, really upset," police supt. Chitwood said of the victim. "And I told him, point blank, I said, 'You did what you had to do and as far as I'm concerned, I don't see any criminal charges forthcoming.'"
