Update: Texas deputy fired for shooting victim’s dog now faces animal cruelty charges (VIDEO)

Deputy Jarrod Dooley was fired last month after shooting a dog during a burglary call. Two short weeks later he has been indicted on a felony animal cruelty charge, and if convicted, faces two years in prison.

The video sparked outrage and a petition was produced, gathering over 12,000 signatures which demanded that the boy be punished with felony animal cruelty charges.
