NORTH CHESTERFIELD, VA., – -(Ammoland.com)-  Carl Zeiss Sports Optics, the world’s leading manufacturer of high performance sports optics, is pleased to announce that effective January 30, 2017, Barton Dobbs has been promoted to the position of Director of Sales – Sports Optics Division.

In this position Barton will assume a more visible and active role in the development and deployment of the sales strategy. He will also be directly responsible for managing the relationships of our highest profile customers within North America. Dobb’s will report directly to the Vice President – Sports Optics, Carl Zeiss SBE, LLC.

Prior to the promotion Dobb’s was responsible for sales and territory management for ZEISS Sports Optics in the West, Midwest, Northeast US as well as Canada. Dobb’s also managed Key Account development including five leading internet retailers; Management of 35 independent sales representatives; Coordination of special projects with industry-leading rifle manufacturers and conservation groups like Safari Club International, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and the NRA.
