St. Paul, MN -(AmmoLand.com)- Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever is proud to announce YETI as a new corporate partner of “The Habitat Organization.”

The partnership provides YETI with a wide array of marketing opportunities to educate the organization’s members and supporters about their top-of-the-line coolers and products designed with hunters in mind. In return, YETI provides a financial commitment to further the organization’s wildlife habitat conservation mission.

“Pheasant and quail hunters have an overarching responsibility to care for their harvested birds in the field from the moment they are delivered to hand – YETI are a great option for preserving your harvest,” explained Brad Heidel, director of corporate partnerships for Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever. “The folks at YETI are bird hunters who have not only developed a superior product for the outdoor lifestyle, but also understand their pivotal role in supporting wildlife habitat conservation efforts.”

“YETI founders Roy and Ryan Seiders grew up hunting and fishing across Texas and beyond. For them, it was and is a way of life,” said Ben O’Brien, hunting marketing manager for YETI. “That’s why YETI is proud to support Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever and their efforts to protect and further the pursuits that laid the groundwork for our products. We look forward to a strong alliance that will push forward the conservation efforts of those who value our wildlife resources and upland pursuits.”

YETI’s commitment as a corporate partner will support the conservation efforts of Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever’s 146,000 members who improved 1.7 million acres of wildlife habitat in 2015 and more than 14 million acres since the organization’s formation in 1982. To that end, the organization has a 34-year track record of effectively turning dollars generated through corporate partners, members, donations, and grants into habitat acres on the ground. In fact, Charity Navigator recently designated Pheasants Forever as an “exceptional”charity.

In addition to advertising in Pheasants Forever Journal, the following highlights key components of the partnership:

  • Bird Dogs for Habitat – YETI co-sponsored the 2016 Bird Dogs for Habitat campaign, an online fundraising contest for members and supporters to vote for their favorite breed of bird dog. Every $1 donated to the campaign is equal to one vote for the donor’s favorite breed of bird dog. Each dollar was matched at a 4:1 ratio thanks to these generous sponsors: YETI, SportDOG, Mendota Dog Products, Irish Setter Boots, and Midwest Outdoors.
  • Rooster Road Trip 2016 – YETI will also co-sponsor this year’s Rooster Road Trip, an online event focused on the connection between member’s dollars and Pheasants Forever’s ability to create public hunting access. YETI products will accompany staff members during the fall event to ensure wild game meats stays cool and fresh throughout the week long hunting expedition.
  • National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic – As a bronze sponsor for the 2017 National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic in Minneapolis, YETI and other products will be displayed for the event’s attendees in “Rooster Row,” one of the premiere booth locations for the convention.
