Woman from WWII photo re-enacts the iconic kiss 67-years later (PHOTOS)

The nurse who made her debut appearance in the iconic and timeless Victory over Japan Day kiss photo re-enacts the scene 67 years later.

The woman in the photo, 87-year-old Gloria Bullard, stood in Times Square, just as she did so many years ago, and reminiscently kissed WWII fighter pilot, Jerry Yellin.

Spirits were high as New Yorkers cheered in celebration. A significantly enlarged version of the 1940’s was projected on the Times Square jumbo screens.
