Winning friends and influencing people with the .458 Socom (VIDEO)

Matt on DemolitionRanch wants to talk to you about his newfound ballistic joy, the giant .458 SOCOM fired out of a CMMG MkW-15 T.

Teppo Jutsu came up with the round about 15 years ago for special operations use using a .50AE case to cough up a 11.63mm bullet weighing anywhere from 140-405 grains, rather than the more typical 55-72 grain rounds in your 5.56/.223.

And as shown, it has a little bigger splash no matter what flavor of .458 he selects.

Stay tuned for the drone footage set to introspective music…which is a little different, but we like it (as well as the return of Cooter).
