FAIRFAX, Va. –-(Ammoland.com)- The National Rifle Association is pleased to announce that Winchester Ammunition has made a donation to the NRA’s Youth Education Summit (Y.E.S.) – a seven-day educational experience for high school students in Washington, DC.

A once-in-a-lifetime trip, Y.E.S. teaches students about the significance of the American Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the importance of being an active citizen. The young scholars will also visit historic locations around the nation’s capital and make a trip to the NRA Headquarters Range. Winchester’s donation of ammunition will allow students to participate in a safe, supervised firearm training exercise while at the range.

“Winchester is honored to support the NRA Youth Education Summit,” said Brett Flaugher, Winchester Ammunition’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “This is a proven program that affords tremendous opportunities for youth across the United States. It’s wonderful that they also have a chance to learn and experience the shooting sports.”

Founded in 1866, Winchester is one of the world’s most widely recognized and respected brands. The legendary Winchester name and trademark have long represented a responsible heritage of supporting conservation, hunter education and our country’s shooting sports.
