Wilson Combat expands its large format AR rifle line with the addition of two new models chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, the company announced this week.

The Recon Tactical and Super Sniper join Wilson’s lineup of .308 and .338 Federal caliber choices on the AR-10 platform.

The Recon Tactical features Wilson’s match-grade, medium weight stainless steel barrel constructed for accuracy and sustained high rates of fire. The rifle comes in either 16-inch, 18-inch or 20-inch barrel length with a 7.85 empty weight. Equipped with a rifle length gas system with lo-profile gas block, the AR is also equipped with a threaded muzzle and Q-Comp flash hider.

The Super Sniper also utilizes Wilson’s match-grade barrel that is precision button rifled from 416-R stainless steel, then chambered and reverse crowned to elevate long range accuracy. Designed with a 1:8 twist, the rifle delivers consistent shooting results out to 1000 yards under a variety of bullet weights. The Billet-AR machined aluminum upper and lower receivers are constructed to close tolerance, allowing for smooth operation with a perfect fit.

AR fans can grab the unfluted Recon Tactical for $2,995 or the fluted version for $3,045. The fluted Super Sniper retails for $3,145.
