Charlotte, NC –-(Ammoland.com)-  Last Friday, April 4 2014, another pro-hunting bill was signed into law by Governor Terry McAuliffe (D).

House Bill 307, sponsored by pro-gun Delegate Scott Lingamfelter (R-31), permits local school boards to provide after-school hunter safety education programs for students grades seven through twelve, at the cost of the participant.

HB 307 passed unanimously in the Virginia House of Delegates on January 30 and passed in the state Senate by a 39 to 1 vote on February 24.

Your NRA thanks Delegate Lingamfelter for sponsoring this bill, which seeks to ensure Virginia’s rich hunting heritage is passed on to the next generation of sportsmen.
