Vietnam vet gets massive ‘welcome home’ (VIDEO)

At just 17-years-old, Edwin Everton Morgan joined the service. Many years later, when his plane went down during the Vietnam War, he paid the ultimate price serving his country.

After almost 50 years, Morgan’s remains have been identified through dental records and he has been brought back home to be buried next to his wife in Rockwell, North Carolina.

The plane carrying Morgan’s remains landed in Charlotte last week and a hearse carried him the remainder of the way, nearly 50 miles to his final resting place. Trailing behind the hearse was over 100 motorcycles carrying those who had come to pay their respects.
