Vice has launched an investigation into the world of private military corporations, or PMCs, to examine the new Call of Duty.
PMCs have a nearly endless cash flow and therefore have access to high-tech weaponry and highly trained operatives with previous military experience. But since these operatives essentially work for the highest bidder, Vice asks, “What happens when the highest bidder becomes the world’s next superpower?”
