UTG Pro is going all-American, introducing their first US made, ambidextrous pistol grip for America’s most popular rifle, the AR-15.

The  grip is molded from impact resistant high strength polymer and replaces standard A2 pistol grips. Featuring an ergonomic shape, the design gives shooters a natural posture while offering compatibility with common ambidextrous levers.

The symmetrical, textured palm swells matched with the low profile finger grooves reduce fatigue and improve handling comfort, with or without gloves. A high beavertail does its part to keep shooters hands high and tight. To fill the gap between the rear of the trigger and lower receiver, UTG has added an integral duckbill which protects the middle finger from blistering while shooting. Should the duckbill prove to be too much for users, the area was designed to easily allow for cutting and sanding.

The UTG Pro pistol grip is equipped with a built-in storage compartment. Outfitted with a removable end cap, the area easily stores small parts, batteries and other accessories.

The ambi grip is available from Leaper’s, priced under $20.
