A man who is wanted by the Lima Police Department in Ohio decided the mugshot authorities were using just wouldn’t cut it and instead sent the police department a selfie, which he believes was a much better depiction of his pretty little mug.

45-year-old Donald A “Chip” Pugh has an active warrant for two failure to appear charges, stemming from driving while intoxicated and domestic violence charges. Pugh is also listed as a “person of interest” in a number of other cases that include vandalism and arson.

The Lima Police Department posted photos of Pugh on their Facebook page and instead of getting a hit on Pugh’s whereabouts, instead got a request from Pugh to use a different – better – mugshot.

The department obliged, and posted the selfie sent by Pugh, with the following caption: “This photo was sent to us by Mr. Pugh himself. We thank him for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come speak to us at the LPD about his charges.”
