TSA discovers cannon in passenger’s checked baggage

The TSA says this is one of those things that can be filed under “items we don’t see every day.”

While TSA agents no doubt expect to find firearms and other weapons among luggage week after week, and have even found cannon balls in the past, they admit the actual barrel of a cannon found last week may be a first.

The cannon was discovered in checked baggage at Hawaii’s Kahului Airport and apparently even inert weaponry is a big no no.

Other fun things found last week include knives, knives, more knives, and a whole lotta pot.

Just because you can fit a pair of six-inch knives inside of your boots, doesn't necessarily mean you should.

It's a gun. It's a knife. No, it's now property of the TSA.

Six pounds of pot in a carry-on bag? No problem.
