Washington , DC – -(Ammoland.com)- Donald Trump is the Republican presidential candidate most likely to defeat probable Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton next year,” gun dean John M. Snyder said here today.
Snyder explained, “On the number one issue of the day, voters are evenly split between Clinton and Trump ‘as their top choice to address the issue of terrorism following the Paris attacks, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found,’ Reuters reported last Tuesday.”
“Asked to choose from the entire field of 2016 presidential hopefuls, 20 percent of 1,106 respondents surveyed between Nov. 16-17 opted for Trump. An equal share of the electorate picked Clinton,” Reuters stated.
Snyder noted, The polling figures undercut a GOP establishment contention reported by The Wall Street Journal that a Trump nomination would facilitate a Clinton general election victory. That report indicated an establishment GOP ‘guerilla campaign’ backed by ‘secret donors’ planned to eliminate Trump from the campaign.
How stupid can you get? Trump’s easily the best GOP candidate. He’s the one who, if nominated, would have the best chance of taking back the White House from the opposition next year. Republican voters favor him by a wide margin. According to a new Washington Post and ABC News poll reported Sunday by the Post, ‘Trump runs ahead of the large field with 32 percent support among registered Republicans and Republican-leaning independents.’
“Let Republican leaders end intraparty fighting,” said Snyder, unite behind GOP rank and file favorite Donald Trump, and concentrate on defeating probable Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in next November’s national elections.
Establishment candidates should get out of the race. The people do not want them. All they can do is screw things up. According to an AP-GfK poll, Republican registered voters say they prefer an outsider candidate to an insider by a 77% to 22% margin.
Snyder said, “Republicans want a big change. They think successful straight-talking New York businessman Trump can reinvigorate United States manufacturing, restore economic dominance and promote domestic job growth.”
GOP leaders should get the message. Let them drop the petty infighting and attack the promoters of gun control, abortion, same-sex marriage, international weakness and military indecisiveness in the Democrat party.
Snyder said, “While some solid conservatives for sincere reasons object to Trump, let them concentrate on the big picture. The New Yorker is the candidate most likely to lead the party to victory over the real political enemy next year.” (not to mention his clear intention to support the Second Amendment.)
