TriStar, the company known as “the value experts” in the shotgun world, introduced several new hunting and sporting scatterguns during the first full day of the SHOT Show in Las Vegas. These include trap-specific guns, 28-gauge entries into the G2 Viper semi-auto line, and a .410 bore budget priced Setter O/U.
The TT-15 Trap line has been significantly expanded to include four quality options with extensive customization. The series includes a top single, unsingle, double-barreled O/U, and a combo set.
The TT’s are loaded with features including raised, adjustable target ribs, adjustable combs, palm swells, and color-coded extended Beretta/Benelli Mobile chokes. Prices range from $1,190 to $1,725 respectively at retail.
TriStar also beefed up its offering in the sub-gauge market with significant additions for lovers of the 28 gauge and .410. The Viper G2 semi-auto will soon be available on its own dedicated smaller frame in 28-gauge chamberings complete with chrome-lined 28-inch barrels in both the G2 Bronze with high gloss wood and matte finished G2 Wood, with MSRP’s at $795 and $625.
They didn’t stop with 28’s, however, as TriStar added real value to its Setter O/U line with a dedicated budget-level 410 bore micro gun.
Fans of the company’s O/U line will quickly recognized the intersection of value and quality, as the gun comes standard with 28-inch chrome lined barrels, cut checkering, a ventilated rib, and five Beretta Mobile choke tubes.
Anticipated MSRP on the .410 Setter is $565, though we expect real-world prices to be significantly lower.
