Wixom, MI – -(ShootingWire.com)- Trijicon, Inc.® has been selected by the U.S. Army to supply up to 135,000 of its Advanced Combat Optical Gunsights (ACOG) for the Army’s M150 Rifle Combat Optic program. The sight is also the choice of the U.S. Special Operations forces and the U.S. Marine Corps.

Trijicon Scopes 4X Dual-Illuminated Optic

4x dual-illuminated optic that will include a laser filter, Signature Reduction Device and pouch. Compatible with the M16 and M4 rifle systems, the initial role of Trijicon’s ACOG is planned for use in assisting small unit sharpshooters engage longer-range targets during combat operations. The units utilize Trijicon’s Bindon Aiming Concept – a system that permits both-eyes-open shooting, greatly increasing the soldier’s situational awareness and lethality during fast moving tactical situations.
