Delray Beach, Fla. (Ammoland.com) – TPG BLACK, the exclusive line of American-made products offered by Tacprogear (TPG), is proud to announce that their Citadel 52 Series hard armor plates have received high marks from the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) Member Tested and Recommended Program. TPG has the privilege of displaying the prestigious NTOA Member Tested and Recommended Logo in their marketing materials.

An NTOA testing officer from California, who performed his evaluation of these plates in the TPG BLACK BONZ GRID-HERCULES™ Plate Carrier, remarked on the relative ease to place the plates in and out of the carrier, as well as how easy they were to clean.

He continued, “The plates were sized and contoured well, and appeared to be durable. They offered advanced ballistic protection with the same size and weight of strictly NIJ III rated plates, which I currently use. The plates weigh about 4.6 pounds each and were not excessively heavy during prolonged wear. I recommend the plates for consideration, as they offer excellent ballistic protection and acceptable comfort.”

Made in the USA, the Citadel™ 52 Series are made from polyethylene and ceramic with a polyurea protective cover. The 52 series is a NIJ III Plus and NIJ IV Plus protection type plate and is compliant to NIJ Standard 0101.06. TPG Internal testing was conducted at the state-of-the-art TPG ballistic test range in Miami, FL.
