The San Quentin Giants: America’s favorite pastime meets California’s most infamous prison (VIDEO)

The New York Times compiled a short yet stunning documentary of the San Quentin Giants, the baseball team made up of prisoners from the state’s oldest and most notorious prison. Their jerseys are second-hand and their sports equipment stored in secure facilities, but the players can some together and forget their differences, if even for a bit, while on the diamond nestled amongst the 432-acre facility overlooking the bay area.
