The National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) Announces Scholarship Winners

Children of active NTOA members receive scholarship valued at $2,500 under the James Torkar Eductaional Scholarship

National Tactical Officers AssociationDoylestown, PA (Ammoland.com) – The National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) is pleased to announce the scholarship recipients of the 2014 “James Torkar Educational Scholarship.” Each student selected for the scholarship demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievement and community service. This program benefits dependent children of members with active NTOA “Individual” memberships and are at least 16 years old and a United States citizen. It provides funding for tuition and other eligible expenses through an IRS 529 College Savings Plan or a direct payment to the educational institution.

The 2014 Educations Scholarships are valued at $2,500 for each student. Award winners are as follows:

  • Summer Moon, Orange City, FL
  • Katelynn Hoobler, Horton, KS
  • Amber Hovenac-Carey, Floresville, TX
  • Marissa Fry, Troy, ID
  • Christine Padilla, Clovis, CA
