Testing the suppressor-ready Henry Frontier lever action .22 (VIDEO)

The Mrgunsngear Channel spends some quality subdued time with Henry Repeating Arms’ new Frontier .22 rifle, that comes with a factory threaded barrel.

Going back to the days of Mr. Maxim’s original Silencer line of products, no less a figure than President Teddy Roosevelt liked to plink in his backyard with a suppressed lever-action rifle, so it’s about time that Henry came aboard the muffler train and produced this new line of cowboy guns that come complete with a 1/2x28TPI threaded barrel.

The gun holds 10/11 .22LR and 16 .22 Shorts in the under barrel mag tube. The shorter magazine tube allows enough clearance for reloading without removing the suppressor.

MGGC finds the gun pretty handy, and he reports that it has a decent (14-inch) length of pull and a smooth action.

Paging Mr. Roosevelt.
