TCB: Elvis wheelguns, Shelby County S/O star, ‘Memphis Mafia’ files up for grabs (VIDEO)

RIA has a treasure trove of the King of Rock & Roll’s swag coming up at auction including a Colt Python, an S&W M19 meant for Spiro Agnew of Futurama fame, and his law enforcement creds.

The collection is being sold in six different lots that consist of three blinged-out vintage American-made wheelguns, Presley’s diamond and ruby-studded Shelby County Sheriff’s Badge, the contract to buy Graceland and personal files of the so-called “Memphis Mafia” of associates who helped the Mississippi-born mega star take care of business.

If the badge seemed weird, it should be pointed out that Presley had a collection of them and was even given one by President Nixon from the federal Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (the DEA before the DEA was the DEA)

Speaking of Nixon the inlaid and carved Smith & Wesson Model 19-2 snub was bought from Kerrs in Beverly Hills and Elvis tried to gift it to Vice President Spiro Agnew– only to have it politely returned as he was at the time under federal investigation– and later given to Shelby County Sheriff Gene Barksdale.

Hey, it’s good to be the king.
