Task force finds over 500 pounds of pot in U-Haul truck

Thanks to a tipster who believed there was something suspicious about a U-Haul truck in Lawrenceville, Georgia, authorities took more etna 500 pounds of marijuana off the streets Tuesday afternoon.

Officers initiated a traffic stop, during which time a K-9 sensed something off about the truck. Once the truck was searched, authorities found 427 packages of pot, weighing a total of 504 pounds, with an estimated street value of around $1.2 million.

Both the driver, Mark Anthony Spaziano and the passenger, John Anthony Edney, were arrested and charged with drug trafficking.
