Defense contractor pleads guilty to giving secrets to ‘Russian spy’

The contractor pleaded guilty Monday to selling secret information to a person he believed to be a Russian spy. Investigators learned he used the funds to support an online lover, who had been catfishing him.

US taxpayers pay $500 million annually to hospitals for treatment of gunshot victims

The vast majority of gunshot victims either don't have insurance or depend on publicly-funded insurance, meaning that almost 73 percent of the hospital — or nearly $500 million each year — comes from U.S. taxpayer money.
