STI International has once again teamed up with weapons trainer Chris Costa to present the new Costa VIP pistol to handgun shooters.

The Costa VIP falls under the Costa series umbrella and is specifically designed and built for the concealed carry market.  The pistol boasts a shortened stippled grip and 4.15-inch barrel, touting a low profile Tritium front sight with a fixed ledge rear, the VIP also features a Picatinny under-rail for mounting lasers, lights or other accessories.

The 2011 platform offers higher round capacity while the diamond like carbon black finish on metal parts paired with black TreeBark stippled grip “helps ensure added concealment,” according to STI.

The gun’s Recoil Master spring system works to reduce recoil giving shooters better control and the ability to start on target with follow-up shots. The VIP ships with two 120mm magazines.

The Costa VIP is available in either 9mm or .45 ACP and retails for $2,599.
