New Berlin, Wis. –-(Ammoland.com)- Not all of the TV universe tuned in for twerking teens or raging chemists on Sunday night as Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor television for the American sportsman, hammed it up all evening with “Aporkalypse 2013,” which rated in the Top 15 among all cable networks and was No. 1 among mid-sized networks for M18-49 and M18-34.*

Airing Sunday, August 25 exclusively on Sportsman Channel, Aporkalypse 2013 was a marathon of wild hog stories, adventure, and eradication including episodes from Pig Man: The Series,” hosted by Brian Quaca and featuring special guest Ted Nugent; “MeatEater with Steven Rinella,” “Gun It! with Benny Spies,” Tom Miranda’s “Territories Wild” and “Travelin’ Hunter with Tony Smotherman.”

Even among the twitter-verse, Sportsman Channel was the talk of the night with an eruption of twitter squealing – some tweeters declaring they were skipping music-award programs in favor of watching Sportsman’s killer outdoorsmen each attacking America’s feral pig epidemic in their own unique manner.

The series snagged the No. 1 ranking by pulling a .5 rating for M18-49 and a .4 for M18-34 8p to 9pm hour among all mid-sized networks.*
