Denver, CO -(AmmoLand.com)- One man retraces the treacherous journey paved by two explorers’ long ago in the five-episode, mini-series of Petersen’s Hunting Adventures: Border to Border beginning Sunday, December 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET exclusively on Sportsman Channel.

Mike Schoby, show-host and outdoorsman, follows the footsteps of Lewis and Clark from more than 200 years ago in an epic journey beginning in St. Louis then Lolo pass, all the way to the Pacific Ocean. A voyage in the 19th Century meant encountering the unknown, but Schoby takes on his own unexpected obstacles as he hunts bison, squirrels, sheep and elk throughout his expedition.

“This was a really neat experience. It’s a part of Americana that I don’t think enough people get to experience,” Schoby said after a successful bison-hunt in South Dakota. “Bison are a tough, hardy animal that really symbolize the American West.”

The five episodes will air consecutively every Sunday following December 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET on Sportsman Channel.

Join Schoby in his trek across the West, bringing life to an old adventure in a modern world.
