The M&P Summer Savings promotional program has officially launched at Smith & Wesson and includes mail-in rebates on popular M&P model firearms.

The promo allows Smith & Wesson customers who purchase a new qualifying M&P full size, compact or M&P Shield pistol from July 1 to Sept. 30 to receive two boxes of Hornady Critical Defense ammunition, two additional M&P magazines and a Caldwell Mag Charger Universal Pistol Loader. The company says the deal is valued at $180.

Consumers living in Alaska, Hawaii or any other U.S. state with magazine capacity or ammunition transfer restrictions won’t lose out on a deal. Smith & Wesson instead offers a $75 main-in cash rebate for these customers.

“We are excited to announce the ‘M&P Summer Savings’ mail-in rebate program this summer on some of our most popular firearms,” Matt Buckingham, President of Smith & Wesson, said in a statement. “We’ve worked with Hornady ammunition and Caldwell shooting supplies to create an ideal accessories package, whether you are in the market for a full-size or concealed carry M&P firearm.”

Consumers wanting to jump in on the promo action have until Oct. 31 to submit their paperwork online or via snail mail.
