Smith & Wesson and Magpul team up to introduce three new rifles in the M&P15 series, integrating Magpul’s MOE SL accessories into the popular AR platform.

Equipped with Magpul’s slim line accessories, the M&P15 MOE SL incorporates the MOE SL Carbine Mil-Spec stock, MOE grip and MOE SL mid-length handguard in three color options — Black, Stealth Gray and Flat Dark Earth.

The modular sporting rifle line boasts a mid-length gas setup, offering reduced recoil for faster follow-up shots. The platform features a Smith & Wesson, Magpul co-branded lower receiver, Smith & Wesson flash suppressor and folding Magpul MBUS rear sight. Smith & Wesson tops off the 5.56 chambered rifle with a lightweight 5R rifled 4041-steel contoured barrel with 1 in 8-inch twist rate. The 16-inch barrel pushes the overall length of the gas gun to right at 37-inches with a weight of 6.7 pounds.

“The M&P15 MOE SL rifles incorporate many of the popular slim line Magpul accessories that shooters were adding to their rifles in a ready-to-shoot package, as well as a new Stealth Gray option,” Jan Mladek, General Manager of the Smith & Wesson and M&P Brands, said in press release. “These additions expand Smith & Wesson’s advanced line of sporting firearms, while addressing consumer demands for exceptional performance and design.”

Smith & Wesson fans can nab the M&P15 MOE SL series from the company for $1,239.
