Ruger announced three new pistols will join its popular Mark IV series, introducing the Mark IV Tactical and two Standard models to the lineup.

Chambered in .22 LR, the Mark IV Tactical boasts a 4.40-inch barrel with a 1/2×28-inch thread pattern that can accommodate the company’s Silent-SR suppressor platform. The handgun is also outfitted with fully adjustable sights and factory installed upper and lower Picatinny rails for mounting lights, lasers and other accessories.

The Standard series offers a tapered barrel and a natural point grip angle. Offered with either 4.75-inch or 6-inch barrel lengths the Standard is equipped with fixed sights.

Both models feature a one-piece, precision machined grip frame and one-button takedown for quick and easy field stripping in addition to an ambidextrous manual safety and a redesigned bolt stop. Ruger has also improved the internals, enhancing the hammer, sear, bolt and firing pin for smoother feeding.

Mark IV pistols are compatible with Mark III aftermarket accessories including sights, scope bases and holsters.

Standard models will set consumers back $449 while the Mark IV Tactical comes with a price tag of $569.
