Take a journey with Ruffed Grouse Society Regional Biologist Meadow Kouffeld as she shares what this fight for conservation entails. From her work with the Women’s Intro to Wingshooting to the daily workings of a biologist she brings us from her roots to her dedication to hunter recruitment and retention. This short bird hunting video is back dropped on a American Woodcock hunt in Minnesota with her Drahthaar in the beautiful Fall woods.

The Ruffed Grouse Society and American Woodcock Society is a non-profit organization that works to create healthy balanced forests. Their critical fight for young growth species from habitat projects to lobbying in Washington DC effects hundreds of bird, mammal and plant species. With education programs, local chapters, videos, and their award winning magazine they seek to increase the understanding of responsible forest management. An industry-leading $.89 of every member dollar enhances habitat and hunter access projects, young and new hunter initiatives, and public education on the importance hunters play in wildlife conservation.
