USA – -(Ammoland.com)- Our Founding Fathers gave us a document, a Constitution, that we use today in order to remain a society, where free men sustainably govern themselves.
The crisis which we face today is muddied by charges of racism, xenophobia, and worse. These vicious attacks, on those of us who cherish the freedoms enshrined in the Constitution, serve only to polarize us further.
And the attacks divert attention from questions that are possibly to embarrassing for our country’s Left Wing, which nevertheless must be asked and answered.
At what point will there be compromise?
Shouldn’t all sides compromise equally? (Or at least ‘equitably’)
It would appear that our culture and our history are dirt beneath the shoes of the Left.
The violence over a statue is a wonderful case in point. There are many who revere General Robert E. Lee and many who don’t, as they have been taught to hate him. Yet, a basic fact remains, he is a major historical figure.
If the Left cannot even view a dead general without the need to demand that we erase all of his existence, then how can they compromise on substantive issues?
The Left must understand that we should not, and will not, permit them to erase our successful culture of freedom without serious repercussions. They must understand that RIGHTS, and COMPROMISE, go both ways.
We first must acknowledge several things:
- There has been a great transfer of wealth out of the ‘productive class’ of Americans.
- We are $20+ trillion in debt.
- Our infrastructure is in poor condition.
- Too many of our citizens cannot, or will not, support themselves.
- We have compromised our country into poverty.
Can we even agree, with the Left, and compromise, on these as problems? Is our willingness to compromise, with the Left, and agree on these, nothing more than agreeing to more of the same?
Additionally, we strongly suspect that our voting process has been corrupted, yet our left-wing politicians refuse to fully permit the examination of the situation, thereby not satisfying our certainty that the Polling System is in GOOD HEALTH. Do the Left refuse this minor compromise because they have something to hide?
Our left-leaning citizens are very satisfied with business as usual. But the policy of business, as usual, is on a crash trajectory with the concept of freedom, and of people who govern themselves.
Compromising with the Left always seems to result in damage to the culture we hold so dear.
We should keep the statues and keep the street names. If you can’t control your hate, you need to know that you are creating a monster of a problem for your progeny. Go to a psychiatrist if you can’t take it. Live with your hatred and waste your lives, if you need to. But, YOU CANNOT BURY YOUR HISTORY, no matter bad or good. You also, cannot hide from your history. But you can, and should, learn from it, correct it, and grow better from it.
Have we reached the point of disgust with the Left Wing, to what they want from us, can’t be had, as nothing will make them happy?
