Remington quietly sneaks out 20 gauge version of Tac-14 firearm (VIDEO)

Clay Martin with Guns America managed to lay hands on the newest version of their non-NFA TAC-14 line in an easier to manage 20 gauge loading.

At 26.25 inches overall and with a Raptor Shockwave pistol grip, the gun’s 14-inch cylinder bore barrel is not a National Firearms Act regulated item as it is a “firearm” and not an SBS or AOW, thus no tax stamp is required under federal law, though state and local laws may apply.

Like the 12 gauge released earlier this year, the 20 gauge variant of the TAC-14 is based on the standard 870 design and incorporates a Magpul M-LOK fore-end rather than the traditional corn-cob pump. Weight goes a tad over five pounds while magazine capacity is five shells (4+1).

How does it handle? Martin likes it better than the 12 but has some caveats.

While Big Green doesn’t list the 20 on their website currently they also do not list the companion Marine Magnum announced last month.

But they are out there.
