A Remington brand dog’s head rifle cane — the “property of a gentleman” — is up for auction and estimated to sell between $5,000 and $8,000.

According to the listing on Heritage Auctions, the cane gun features a gutta-percha wood handle, measures in at 31-inches in length, and chambered for .32 RF.

Heritage Auctions says the model’s serial number is 15 out of 2,000.

The ATF lists cane guns as Any Other Weapon since it is “capable of being concealed on the person from which a shot can be discharged through the energy of an explosive.”

Bidding closes Dec. 11.
