Authorities released a recording of a 911 call placed Monday afternoon following an apparent road rage incident in Lake George, Florida, which left George Zimmerman with minor injuries after a man shot at him through a car window.

The unidentified caller, sounding not at all too concerned about what had just occurred, told the dispatcher that the man, who was later identified as Matthew Apperson, just shot at another man and they need the police. Nearly a minute into the call, the man reveals that the second party is none other than George Zimmerman.

Apperson and Zimmerman have apparently been involved in an “ongoing dispute” and Apperson’s lawyer, Mark NeJame, maintains that his client acted in self-defense.
