Pulsar’s latest optics innovation, the Trail thermal riflescope series, is now shipping to select North American dealers the company said in a press release issued Tuesday.

The Pulsar Trail lineup serves up five different models to cover hunters and rifle shooters of all types. With heat detection varying from 985 yards up to 1475 yards, depending on model, the riflescopes are suited for hunters and law enforcement officers.

Boasting an easy to use interface and ergonomic button locations, Pulsar said it listened to user feedback and integrated that information into the design of the new series. The riflescopes feature tech boosts such as built-in video recording, 8GB of internal memory and Stream Vision compatibility. Stream Vision offers video and picture upload to smartphones or tablets for streaming and wireless monitoring.

Equipped with a 384×288 pixel sensor or optional top of the line 640×480 pixel sensor, the screens feature a frost resistant AMOLED display providing clean thermal images. Featuring a 50Hz refresh rate, built-in accelerometer, 13 digital reticle options and wireless remote, the Trail series offers technologically elevated performance.

Shipping with a convenient carrying case, the Trail series starts at $3,079.99 for the XQ30 with prices heading North to $5,499.99 for the high-end XP50.
