A Pulitzer Prize winner’s ex-wife removed a gun from her vagina and threatened her boyfriend after an argument over space aliens Saturday night, The Smoking Gun reports.

Jennifer McCarthy, 48, is the ex-wife of Pulitzer Prize winning novelist Cormac McCarthy, who authored “The Road” and “No Country for Old Men,” but this tale is stranger than fiction. Clad in lingerie and using the Smith & Wesson as a sex toy, McCarthy removed the weapon from her genitals and pointed it at her boyfriend after an argument over space aliens became heated.

Cormac McCarthy is a Pulitzer Prize winning author who wrote “The Road.”

“Who is crazy, you or me?” McCarthy asked, aiming the firearm at her boyfriend’s head.

The boyfriend told deputies he wrestled the S&W away from McCarthy, stashing it first in the toilet, before changing his mind and tossing it in the garbage instead.

McCarthy was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault on a household member. She was released from jail Sunday after posting a $5,000 bond.

No comment was made on whether or not Cormac McCarthy planned to use the story for an upcoming novel.
