DENVER (Ammoland.Com)This is the time of year when Outdoor Sportsman Group shines the brightest – when outdoorsmen and women begin their first adventures of the season. But, before they hit the woods and fields they tune in for a new slate of premieres on Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network. The fall programming lineup features original premieres and new episodes from returning series across all three networks began in September.

Eva Shockey has been on Outdoor Channel for many years with her dad, Jim Shockey. But now she has her own growing family and is showcasing behind-the-scenes fun within the Shockey-Brent household in My Outdoor Family (premieres November 18). Also returning to Outdoor Channel is conservationist Ivan Carter with his new series, Wildlife Heroes (premieres September 30). Carter will meet with and learn about the positive benefits of hunting from multiple unique perspectives and let outdoorsmen and women know that the lifestyle they live – and love – is okay. And don’t miss the return of Duck Dynasty, additional seasons of Deadliest Catch and Wicked Tuna. Lastly, for our country’s veterans, Outdoor Channel brings a Veteran’s Day Special: 500 Miles (November 11). The program features the gathering and training of 16 Bureau of Land Management wild mustangs.

  • My Outdoor Family (premieres November 18, 8 p.m. ET): Eva Shockey’s message is simple – she promotes living a family-focused outdoor lifestyle. However, behind the scenes, her life is anything but simple. Follow Eva, her husband Tim, and daughter Leni-Bow as they learn and grow as a family.
  • Wildlife Heroes (premieres September 30, 9:30 p.m. ET): Mainstream media isn’t telling the whole story of hunting as a key conservation method. Host Ivan Carter will bring to light the positive impact that hunting has on wildlife species and ecosystems worldwide.
  • Wicked Tuna (Season 4 premieres September 30, 6 p.m. ET): Wicked Tunafollows a group of salty fisherman from the nation’s oldest seaport, Gloucester, Massachusetts, as they make their living the way it’s been done for centuries – rod and reel fishing, one catch at a time, in the pursuit of Bluefin tuna.
  • 500 Miles (November 11, 9 p.m. ET): Sixteen Bureau of Land Mangement wild mustangs are gathered and trained by the team at Heroes and Horses. Veterans set out on a nearly 760-mile journey from New Mexico to Arizona to prepare the horses for the 40-day Heroes and Horses re-integration program. The story will captivate and inspire.

Sportsman Channel will get hunters prepared for the 2019 whitetail and elk rut with daily hunting blocks of programming from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET, stacked by a theme. Also, take time to check out new seasons of North American Whitetail (Wednesdays, 8 p.m. ET), MeatEater, Season 7(October 6,9 p.m. ET); Dead Meat, Season 3 (November 2, 2 p.m. ET) and Bowhunter (Wednesdays, 10 p.m. ET).  Don’t miss Saturday nights by the fire with programming blocks (5-8 p.m. ET) of all your favorites in one place. Tune in for “Buck Fever” on October 5; “Manliest Moments” on November 16, “Coldest Hunts” on December 7 and “Caribou Christmas” on December 21.

  • North American Whitetail (Wednesdays, 8 p.m. ET): Entering its 16thseason,
    North American Whitetailremains among the most popular and longest-running shows on outdoor television focused entirely on the pursuit of the white-tailed deer.
  • MeatEater (Sundays, 9 p.m. ET): Host Steven Rinella will deconstruct and master any hunting technique, track and pursue prey and procure his own food, which he turns into a mouth-watering fireside meal.
  • Dead Meat (Saturdays, 2 p.m. ET):Dead Meatis about finding interesting people who have a passion for making some of the ugliest critters taste delicious.
  • Bowhunter (Wednesdays, 10 p.m. ET):Hosted by Mike Carney and Bowhuntermagazine editor, Curt Wells, the upcoming season showcases more action-packed bowhunts and helpful “how-to” tips than ever before.

Catch the beginning of a 750-mile trek on an old fur trading trail on The Brigade: The Race to Hudson, now airing on World Fishing Network on Saturdays at 8 p.m. A team of 10 must work together to try and get to the finish line, where they will split $500,000 if they succeed. Plus, World Fishing Network continues with fan-favorites: Florida Sportsman Watermen (Thursdays, 9:30 p.m. ET), Unfathomed (Tuesdays, 11 a.m. ET) and FLW (Mondays, 9:30 p.m. ET).

  • The Brigade: The Race to Hudson (Saturdays, 8 p.m. ET):$500,000 is at stake with 10 strangers pulling together to trek 750 miles on the York Factory Express – an old fur trading trail. They will paddle, portage and hike through treacherous waterways and unforgiving terrain in 28 days or they will walk away with nothing.
  • Florida Sportsman Watermen (Thursdays, 9:30 p.m. ET):Hosted by Captain Benny Blanco, feel the passion of fishing in Florida through the souls of the people living to protect it.
  • Unfathomed (Tuesdays, 11 a.m. ET): Join long-time fishing guide and Unfathomedhost, Captain George Gozdz as he explores and illustrates the outdoor lifestyle through cinematic storytelling focused on appealing destinations, intriguing personalities and quality fisheries.
  • FLW (Mondays, 9:30 p.m. ET):FLWputs viewers in the boat with the world’s best bass and walleye anglers on top fisheries throughout the United States.

    • Buffalo Fever II (premieres October 5, 4:30 p.m. ET): Follow two friends, Franz Albrecht Oettingen-Spielberg and gun-maker Herbert Scheifing in their pursuit of Africa’s Black Death.
    • A Thanksgiving Classic (November 29, 7 p.m. ET) – A 12-year-old boy and his family are uprooted from their small town and are now floundering in the big city. A Thanksgiving Classic promises to entertain as it reminds viewers of the important American traditions and values celebrated during this time of year.
