Officers confiscate pink pistol following threat

Taurus TCP

The Boston Police Department collected a Taurus TCP .380-caliber handgun following a call about a threat over the weekend.

Around 9 p.m. Saturday officers learned that a woman was threatened by two individuals – a man and a woman – both of whom she was previously acquainted and both armed with guns. The male, Timothy Hampton, 23, was carrying a silver handgun, while the female, Areitah Malcolm, 28, was armed with what was described as a distinctive pink pistol. The woman told officers that Hampton and Malcolm both pointed their guns at her and threatened to kill her.

The officers then made contact with Hampton and Malcolm at an apartment where they immediately located the pink Taurus. The two were apprehended without further incident and now face charges for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon and Threats.
