Doylestown, Pa. (Ammoland.com) – The National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) has announced a “Contemporary Command Issues in a Post-Ferguson Era” seminar to be held during the 32nd Annual Tactical Operations Conference & Trade Show,  on Aug. 30 – Sept. 4, 2015 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Contemporary challenges facing law enforcement are exploding across the country. This new 4-hour seminar, taught by Fred Farris of Lenexa (KS) PD and Steve Ijames of Springfield (MO) PD, will review media crisis management before, during and after critical incidents. Contemporary strategies and best practices will be presented with case studies and lessons learned. In light of public perception and the media environment surrounding law enforcement today, this seminar is critical for the survival of our nation’s police agencies.

This seminar is open to all conference attendees, as well as any chiefs, sheriffs, command staff or other law enforcement executives, whether registered for the NTOA conference or not. Law enforcement credentials are required for entry.
