FAIRFAX, Va.—-(Ammoland.com)- On the heels of a wildly successful Season 1, the National Rifle Association is proud to announce the Season 2 launch of NRA’s Guns and Gold.

Premiering Monday, January 7th at 9:00pm ET/PT on the Sportsman Channel, NRA’s Guns and Gold will anchor the ever-popular Monday night Locked-N-Loaded lineup.

“NRA’s Guns & Gold features real Americans and the stories behind their guns,” said NRA Membership Programs Director Jeff Poole. “The adventures and unexpected values tied to those firearms will have people scrambling through their gun case for lost treasures of their own.”

Filmed at gun shows across the United States, NRA’s Guns & Gold features two of the most renowned firearms experts in the field: National Firearms Museum Director Jim Supica and Senior Curator Philip Schreier. These two are repeatedly put to the test with one oddity, absurdity or historic piece after another.

“Keep an eye open for a Civil War revolver mistake and a quarter million dollar coin toss,” said Schreier. “We never knew what would walk through the door. You will never know what value lurks in your attic if you don’t tune in, too.”

Other treasures include relics from centuries past, souvenirs from both World Wars, pistols from Colt, rifles from Winchester and experimental prototypes that never quite caught on.

“Whenever we partner with the NRA – it is more than just a show. It’s a partnership that reflects our leadership and commitment to the American Sportsman, whose right to bear arms is vigilantly protected by the NRA.” said Graig Hale, VP of Business Development at Sportsman Channel.
