USA – -(Ammoland.com)- NRA-ILA Executive Director Chris Cox sat down with NRATV’s Grant Stinchfield on Monday to affirm the NRA is already making aggressive moves towards ensuring “federal recognition that allows for people who have a legal right to carry a firearm, to carry it anywhere they have a legal right to be.”

While long over-due, ensuring National Reciprocity will provide a unique challenge for NRA in the days ahead, even within today’s political environment, shaped largely by gun owners and patriots who stood up to the Washington elites to send Donald Trump to the White House. “We can get it done if the American people and all of our supporters all across the country demand it,” Cox said. “All it takes is a little bit of a political backbone.”

For Stinchfield and Cox, the right of National Reciprocity centers on our God-given freedoms. “These aren’t new ideas or concepts. Anything in your ability to defend yourself and protect yourself from criminal attack is morally right.” As for those who don’t hold the same beliefs, Cox offered the following:  “If you don’t want to own a gun, don’t buy one, but don’t suggest or legislate my ability to protect myself and my family.”
