Dr. Madalian is a valued member of the Woodland Park Range and he is the Owner of Madalian Chiropractic in Way, New Jersey. He offers different options for his patients. There are some patients that are looking for immediate relief from pain and then there are some patients that are looking to make life changing adjustments to their health and wellbeing. Jenn Haas and her husband are longtime family members of the Woodland Park Range and when Jenn was suffering from sciatica she found no relief from conventional doctors. Jenn heard about Dr. Madalian from the podcast and decided to give his office a try. For a mom of three kids, with school starting it was difficult for Jenn to fit her own self-care into the schedule, but as the pain started creeping back into her body, she made the effort again to get help from Dr. Madalian. “It’s only been a couple of months but I can already see a change…I literally could not stand for more than ten minutes and now I am able to stand, and walk around and be a lot more mobile than I was before,” touted Jenn.
Newly-wed Stepdad, Volleyball Magnate Brian Goldberg started out shooting at Cherry Ridge with a family member, and eventually joined the Woodland Park Range. He’s taken some Gun For Hire classes and enjoys his time with his Gun For Hire Family. Brian also found himself suffering from pain. His pain resulted from a car accident he had over a decade ago, but recently the pain was compromising his volleyball court skills and ultimately his quality of life. So he too, after recommendations from us, turned to Dr. Madalian for help. Brian was used to the run around of having to go to different offices and waiting for doctors to review X-Rays, then charging him for every visit, and he was pleasantly surprised that Dr. Madalian had all the equipment he needed to diagnose a patient, right there in his office. Brian feels better and his movement and overall outlook on his health has improved. Brian agreed that the staff is impeccable, (at both GFH and Madalian Chiropractic), and he added that he likes the camaraderie that he feels from being able to discuss his life with his doctor without feeling like a criminal because he’s a firearms enthusiast.
Dr. Madalian and Jenn agreed that customer service is paramount and that going to a place that treats you like family makes you want to come back. He could tell the type of guy that Dr. Madalian was when he first joined the range Anthony said, “When somebody is tuned in, you can tell right away, and when they’re not, they’re not.”
During the month of October, Dr. Madalian is offing a special he calls “Freedom From Pain.” It’s for new patients and includes a full exam, with X-Rays if they are needed. The total value of this offer is $250, but Dr. Madalian is only charging $35 during the month of October!!
Onto less happy news…just remember what happens in New Jersey doesn’t stay in New Jersey.
The state divested funds from outdoorsy and sporting groups at the expense of the people on their pensions. Wait, isn’t that the exact opposite of what he said he would do about pensions in New Jersey? This carpetbagger learned about the Jersey Shore culture quick, “flip-flopping” has now become second nature to him. Sandy reminded us that sixty-seven percent of registered voters in New Jersey DID NOT VOTE in the last gubernatorial election…and then you wonder why we got Murphy? To add insult to injury, now the NJ Attorney General is joining 11 other state AGs to protest the decision in the 3rd Circuit Hawaiian Court of Appeals that just allowed “open carry” because they’re afraid it’s going to bleed over into their states. By-the-by, make sure you get out and vote in the New Jersey Senate race! “Anything is better than Menendez,” says Anthony and if you don’t know why just Google the disgraced Senator and all the various corruption charges will pop up.
Jenn was stalked in a mall once and so she always carries her Lipstick Bodyguard, but there are many common sense ways to help protect yourself and your loved ones. Anthony went over some Fall safety tips for Holiday shoppers as well as conscientious citizens that refuse to become victims. Here are some of the tips discussed:
- Keep all car doors locked and windows closed while in or out of your car.
- If you must shop at night, park in a well-lit area.
- Avoid parking next to vans, trucks with camper shells, or cars with tinted windows.
- Be sure to locate your keys prior to going to your car.
- When approaching or leaving your vehicle, be aware of your surroundings.
- Do not approach your car alone if there are suspicious people in the area.
- Shop during daylight hours whenever possible.
- Avoid wearing expensive jewelry.
- Do not carry a purse or wallet, if possible.
- Even though you are rushed and thinking about a thousand things, stay alert to your surroundings.
- Keep cash in your front pocket.
- Be extra careful if you do carry a wallet or purse.
- Avoid overloading yourself with packages.
- Beware of strangers approaching you they may try to distract you to take your money or belongings.
- If possible, leave small children at home with a trusted babysitter.
- Teach children their full name, address and telephone number to give to police officers or security.
- Teach children to immediately inform you if a stranger is bothering them.
- Indoor and outdoor lights should be on an automatic timer.
- Leave a radio or television on so the house looks and sounds occupied.
- Be aware that criminals sometimes pose as couriers delivering gifts.
It is not uncommon for criminals to take advantage of the generosity of people during the holiday season by soliciting donations door-to-door for charitable causes although no charity is involved. Ask for their identification, and find out how the donated funds will be used. If you are not satisfied, do not donate.
