You may or may not have seen an episode of MTV Cribs in the past, but regardless, a group of Marines takes you inside the berthing areas of their Navy G-rides to show you the deluxe accommodations.

Marines have been shipping out with the Navy since a few days after Tun Tavern, and in the above official USMC video, Cpl. Nick Lynch, shows you around the berthing area of Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment during Operation Blue Chromite 2017 in Sasebo, Japan.

The digs are aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) which is capable of sandwiching 800 Devils aboard a state of the art modern naval vessel just 661-feet long. Of course, the Navy dedicates lots of room on board to things like fuels, machinery, food, stores, helicopters, and the Marine’s vehicles and gear, leaving precious little space for the actual Marines, but hey, it’s not the love boat.  Well, usually not.

It’s cramped, but actually nicer than on some older ships the San Antonios are replacing.

“We have so many closets, it’s ridiculous in here,” says Lynch /sarc/.

Then, there is an unofficial video, not sanctioned by the Pentagon, posted on Terminal Lance below.

It’s slightly NSFW, but helps round out the experience.
