Indiana –-(Ammoland.com)- Constant re-run, replay, rewind, this country no longer surprises me. Every time there’s a flashpoint, such as the one in Missouri right now, we’ll read about a run on gun shops.
It makes me wonder about some of the folks that make a bee line for the local gun shop, especially the first time buyers.
Where have they been all these past years?
Wonder how many of them buying those AR 15’s for the first time may have asked a few weeks ago; “ Why would anyone need one of those rifles, you can’t hunt with them?”
They probably made the same comments about so called “hi capacity magazines” before they realized they might be fighting 100 looters.
I don’t know what the number of those buyers would be, but if it’s just one person they own a debt of gratitude for those who have been standing on the wall for the past decades to keep the gun confiscation crowd at bay. Had it not been for the Americans who have kept the flame alive to protect the Second Amendment, there would be no firearms for them to panic buy, nor gun shops to race to.
Let’s hope that there will always be strong- willed citizens and legislators to stay vigilant in guarding precious liberty and never succumb to the temptations of weakness and insouciance.
