Most of us are frustrated by the prevalence of signs that prohibit us from carrying in various businesses that we encounter day to day. There are many schools of thought on how to discourage these “Criminal Protection Zones” or CPZs. One way is to hand them a “No Guns = No Money” Card:

Another way would be how Missouri is dealing with it. There, legislation is being considered to hold businesses who prohibit firearms liable for injuries to people who could have defended themselves.
Certainly, businesses are averse to incurring liability. Such a remedy would bring more CPZ signs down faster. That’s good for everybody.
