USA -(Ammoland.com)- We’ll be highlighting a couple of organizations helping injured service members and veterans for the Memorial Day weekend edition of America Outdoors Radio.

Jerry Griffin with Project Healing Waters joins us to explain how fly fishing can help our wounded warriors and Jason Brown, the founder of Outdoors for our Heroes, is doing something similar through the fully outfitted hunting trips he provides.

We’ll be heading back to Alaska to tell you about some rugged ATVs being sold at the Bay Company and share some exciting news about a third location opening up for this business in SE Alaska before going to Gwin’s Lodge, a well known roadhouse with lodging, food and tackle that is the perfect base camp for those wanting to fish for salmon on the famed Kenai and Russian Rivers.

We’ve got firearms related fare too.

Cole Joliff with Deadshot Barrels will tell you about his specialty barrels that can make your shot groups a lot tighter and we’ve got outdoors news about a Methuselah of an elk, the top dog breeds when it comes to scenting ability, where to enjoy a “Free Fishing” weekend near you and the latest from the BASS tournament trail.
