Meet the Cock Block: It’s a cocking tool. For your gun (VIDEO)

Based in Youngsville, Louisiana, the Cock Block was designed by a firearms instructor to “help people with arthritis, wrist injuries, or general lack of strength,” to rack a semi-auto handgun slide.

We’re not sure if they are trolling or not, but they do have a website and they sell two versions of the Cock Block — the Alpha for guns with a large outside diameter, and the Bravo for smaller guns. Each sells for $30.

Creator George Fournet, in the above video, demonstrates that the device is also good for displaying a semi-auto handgun in a safe manner, such as for retail or training.

Not to go spelunking into anybody’s creds, but the Louisiana State Police do list Fournet as a registered handgun instructor (#138) with the state’s Concealed Handgun Permit Unit, so there’s that.
