Schaumburg, Ill.-(Ammoland.com)- Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever is excited to announce Steven Rinella, host of MeatEater television and podcast, will be a featured guest and keynote speaker at the 2019 National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic banquet on Saturday, February 23rd at the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center Hotel. Rinella keynoted the organization’s signature banquet last year in Sioux Falls in front of a sellout crowd of more than 1,300 attendees.

“Steven Rinella has become the voice of a new generation of hunters and we’re thrilled to enlist his talents to help us connect our habitat conservation message to that new audience,” explained Bob St.Pierre, Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever’s Vice President Marketing & Communications.

Host of the popular MeatEater television show, podcast and digital platform, Steven Rinella is an avid outdoorsman, writer, television host and public lands advocate. He is the author of The Scavenger’s Guide to Haute Cuisine, American Buffalo: In Search of a Lost Icon, Meat Eater: Adventures from the Life of an American Hunter, and the upcoming The Meateater: Fish and Game Cookbook slated for release later this month. Rinella’s writing has also appeared in many publications, including Outside, Field and Stream, the New Yorker, Glamour, the New York Times, Men’s Journal, Salon.com, and O the Oprah Magazine.

“Upland habitat accounts for some of the most threatened ecosystems in America. Those prairies, grasslands, and forests are critical to diverse populations of birds, mammals, insects and plants, while also being cherished public lands for hunters,” explained Rinella. “Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever members recognize that habitat conservation is the responsibility of every hunter and they put their blood, sweat, and dollars into the organization’s mission. I am genuinely looking forward to sharing the weekend with the dedicated members of ‘The Habitat Organization’ in Illinois.”
